The Mascoutah Public Library is partnering with other are libraries to form a quiz bowl league for grades 5-9.

Quiz bowl is a fast-paced buzzer competition in which teams of four players compete to answer questions that cover academic subjects like literature and science as well as the broader world of popular culture and current events.

The Mascoutah Library Quiz Bowl Club will meet on the first and third Tuesdays of each month from 6:00-7:00pm.

The club will compete in matches against clubs from other libraries to be scheduled at a later date. Students who wish to participate in the Library Quiz Bowl League cannot be members of Scholastic Bowl teams through their schools.
