We are offering a Python language-coding course for High School students, led by local mentor Aleesha Dawson. Students do not need any prior coding knowledge and all course materials will be provided, including a laptop. The course will run for six months from October-May on Wednesdays from 6:00PM-7:00PM and will follow MSD19’s school break calendar. Interested students need to fill out an application and return it to the Mascoutah Public Library. The course is limited to fifteen students, and applicants will be selected by the course instructor. This program provided by Project Next Generation grant funding through the Illinois State Library and IMLS.
