Illinois JusticeCorps Information
The Illinois JusticeCoprs program places college and law student volunteers in courthouses to help people without lawyers navigate the legal system. Illinois JusticeCorps Members serve as guides to make the courts more welcoming and less intimidating to people who are navigating the complex and daunting civil legal system.

JusticeCorps Members Assist the public by:
- Providing legal information and connecting them to available legal aid resources
- Accompanying people without lawyers around the courthouse to help them complete the necessary steps to move forward with their legal maters
- Answering general questions about legal process and making referrals to legal aid and other services when necessary
